How to set up Payment Information for an Individual


If you’re fundraising as an individual, you’ll need to complete the Personal Information and Bank Information sections. These steps verify your identity and connect your payout account so you can receive funds securely.


All information you upload is secured and protected. It is only accessible to you (through the email listed in your Personal Information) and to our LaunchGood review team.

Step 1: Fill out Your Personal Information


This section confirms who you are. All fields must be completed for verification.

  • Use your full legal name as shown on your government-issued ID
  • Enter your date of birth in the correct format
  • Include your cell phone number with country code
  • Provide your full home address

Tip: Make sure the details match your uploaded ID to avoid delays.


Step 2: Complete Your Bank Information


This section connects your payout account. Fill it in exactly as shown on your bank records.

  • Choose the correct settlement currency (USD, GBP, or CAD)
  • Enter the full account holder name as it appears on your bank account
  • Select the bank account class and type (such as checking or savings)
  • Provide your routing number and account number if required in your country
  • Select your payout method

Tip: If your payout fails, it is usually because of a mismatch between your bank records and what you entered here. Double-check spelling and numbers.


Step 3: Upload Verification Documents

This section confirms your identity and bank details. You will be asked to upload:

  • A valid government-issued ID
  • A recent bank statement or bank letter (within the last 3 months)
  • You may also upload additional documents, such as medical reports, if they support your fundraiser.

Important notes:

  • You can upload extra documents later if requested by our compliance team
  • You cannot delete files yourself. If you upload the wrong file or a duplicate, contact support@launchgood.com


When editing a draft fundraiser


You can update these sections by going to your fundraiser page, and click on the Edit tab, and navigate to the Payment Information section. You may check out this article to know how to find your fundraiser on LaunchGood.

Who can access my Payment Information?

Only the account connected to the email listed in your Personal Information and our LaunchGood review team.


Do I need to complete this before going live?

You can start fundraising, but you must complete this section and upload documents before payouts can be processed. Begin your fundraising journey now on LaunchGood.com/create 


What if I upload the wrong file?

You cannot delete it yourself. Contact support@launchgood.com and our team will assist.


Can I upload additional documents?

Yes. For example, if your fundraiser is for medical support, you can upload medical reports as part of Verification Documents.
