Organization fundraisers are created by registered organizations to raise funds for their charitable activities, projects, or other organizational purposes.
The following are the minimum requirements for your organization's fundraiser. Depending on the purpose of your fundraiser and where the funds will be used, our Trust & Safety team may also request additional information or documents to complete the review, including at any time before a payout is issued.

Supported Countries
Organizations registered in the following countries are eligible to fundraise on LaunchGood:

**U.S. Virgin Islands: Only registered 501(c)(3) organizations are eligible.

Minimum Required Documents
- A Valid IDs of a Key Controllers: Learn who is considered a Key Controller.
- Organization Registration Document
- For organizations registered in the United States:
- A state registration document
- For 501(c)(3) organizations, an IRS Determination Letter, if the organization cannot be verified through the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search.
- For organizations registered in the United States:
- A valid bank statement from the last three months showing:
- Bank logo, full name on the account and full account number.
- If the bank account is new, an official bank letter can be accepted instead.
Fundraising as a For-Profit Organization
For profit entities, such as LLCs, LLPs, and similar businesses, may be eligible to fundraise on LaunchGood for certain non-humanitarian purposes, provided they meet our Minimum Requirements and supporting documentation requirements.
Fundraising for a Charitable Cause as a For-Profit Entity
If a for-profit organization is fundraising for a humanitarian or charitable cause, the fundraiser may need to be connected to an eligible registered charity or non-profit organization.
In these cases:
- The campaign must be linked to the charity or non-profit's LaunchGood account.
- The charity or non-profit must be the recipient of all funds raised.
- Additional verification and supporting documents may be required.
Fundraising in OFAC-Sanctioned Regions
Organizations raising funds for humanitarian projects in OFAC-sanctioned regions will be required to meet the following requirements, in addition to the Minimum Requirements:
- Proof of registration: The organization must be registered with the relevant charity regulator in its respective country of registration for a minimum of 12 months.
- Good standing: Confirmation that the organization is in good standing with the relevant charity regulator.
- Financial statement: An audited financial statement, if available, or an unaudited financial statement for the previous fiscal year.
- Project transparency: Information demonstrating how the organization will manage and implement humanitarian projects in OFAC-sanctioned regions. If this cannot be demonstrated, the organization may be required to provide an MoU or agreement with a credible registered charity or implementing partner.
- Organization chart: A chart listing the names and positions of key officials, if this information is not publicly available online.
Note: Organizations registered in Japan, Singapore, or Spain are currently not supported to fundraise in OFAC-sanctioned regions.
Every fundraiser is reviewed individually. Requirements may vary depending on the purpose of the fundraiser and where the funds will be used. Our Trust & Safety team may request additional information or documents as part of the review process.
