LaunchGood Support Center
  1. Description of the Dhul Hijjah Challenge Challenge. The Dhul Hijjah Challenge (DHC) is a promotional campaign hosted by LaunchGood, aimed at providing incentives and rewards to eligible Campaign Organizers. The challenge comprises two main components: the Daily Leaderboard Contest and the Referrals Program. By participating in the Dhul Hijjah Challenge, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and any decisions made by the Sponsor, which are final and binding.

    1. The Daily Leaderboards (hereinafter, the “Contest”) is sponsored by LaunchGood (in such capacity, the “Sponsor”) and hosted on a crowdfunding platform operated by LaunchGood through its website (the “Platform”). The Sponsor is responsible for providing the prize(s) for the Contest. The Sponsor may also be referred to herein as the “Prize Provider.” Your participation in the Contest means that you unconditionally agree to these Official Rules and all decisions by the Sponsor and Prize Provider, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.

    2. The Referrals Program (hereinafter, the “Referrals Program”) is also sponsored by Sponsor and hosted on the Platform. The Sponsor is responsible for providing the prize(s) for the Referrals Program. The Sponsor may also be referred to herein as the “Prize Provider.” Your participation in the Referrals Program means that you unconditionally agree to these Official Rules and all decisions by the Sponsor and Prize Provider, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Referrals Program.

    3. This contest and program are completely voluntary promotions, cancellable at any time by LaunchGood and/or the Sponsor, as further detailed below.

  2. Daily Dhul Hijjah Challenge Leaderboard Description and Eligibility. To participate in the Daily Leaderboard Contest, participants must be registered Campaign Organizers on the LaunchGood platform with active campaigns during the Contest Period. The contest consists of two categories: most online donations per day and most online unique donors per day. Participants are categorized based on geographic region. Only eligible entries, as per these Official Rules, will be considered for prizes.

    1. Participant Eligibility: The Daily Leaderboard Contest is open to all active campaigns on the LaunchGood platform. Participants must be authorized representatives of their respective organizations. Participants must ensure their campaigns comply with LaunchGood's Terms of Use and these Official Rules. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of LaunchGood are not eligible to participate.

    2. Donation Eligibility:  Donations must be processed through the Platform at https://www.launchgood.com/ (the “Website”) using a credit card during the Contest Period (defined below). Additionally, donations must be made through the Platform and its third-party payment processor during the Contest Period and successfully processed to completion through the Platform and its third-party payment processor(s) before the end of the Contest Period in order to count toward the Contest. Donations can take time to process. Donations made outside the Contest Period and/or offline, even if recorded on the Website, including, but not limited to, donations by cash, credit card, money order, or any other donations not successfully processed online via credit card (“Offline Donations”), or donations that are refunded, returned or disputed, or that are otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules are not eligible and will not be counted toward the Contest. The Sponsor has the right to verify any donation, and any donation that is subject to chargeback or dispute may not count toward the total amount raised. Neither Sponsor nor the Platform is responsible for any delays in processing any donations. The list of donations on any particular Campaign page, if any, or any similar tally of donation(s), are unofficial tallies of the amounts of donations in a Campaign and may not accurately reflect the donations made based on a variety of factors. Results of the Contest are not official until the Sponsor has verified the winner(s).

  3. INELIGIBLE DONATIONS. Donation receipts and confirmation emails do not confirm donation eligibility. Ineligible donations include offline donations, donations made outside the Contest Period, and donations from ineligible sources. Ineligible donations will not contribute to the Campaign total. Participants are prohibited from contributing money to their own campaigns or enlisting others to do so on their behalf. Such contributions are considered ineligible donations and will not be counted toward the organization's Campaign. This includes, but is not limited to, receiving cash or check donations directly or having an employee, Board Member, or other individual act as a proxy for the organization. Such contributions are considered ineligible. Such donations will not be counted. Donations made via LaunchGood features, including Ads, are excluded from the Daily Leaderboards.

  1. LIMITATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS. Sponsor, the Platform, and/or Prize Provider reserve the right to unilaterally modify, suspend, cancel, or discontinue any Contest at any time and in its or their sole discretion(s), including to comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, or to safeguard users, business partners, or the public. This may also occur if factors beyond their control, such as viruses, bugs, or technical failures, compromise the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, or for no reason at all. In the event of such changes, the Platform and/or Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to notify participants. If feasible based on the data available at that time, winners will be selected from all eligible donations received prior to the changes. To maintain fairness and promote diversity on the leaderboard, Campaign Organizers are prohibited from creating multiple campaigns with the same influencer or individuals to circumvent the daily leaderboard cap. For example, an existing campaign associated with an influencer or individual reaches its daily leaderboard cap. In that case, Campaign Organizers cannot start a new campaign to gain additional boosts from the leaderboard. This policy aims to prevent a single entity from monopolizing visibility, which could compromise the donor experience. While LaunchGood will not intervene if an individual independently starts a new campaign, adhering to these regulations is crucial to upholding the challenge's integrity.

  2. Schedule Giving & Referrals Program Description and Eligibility.

    1. Description. The Dhul Hijjah Challenge (DHC) Schedule Giving & Referrals Program allows campaign creators to earn donation boosts by referring individuals to participate in scheduled giving for the Dhul Hijjah Challenge.

All entries made in connection with the Referrals Program are governed by these Official Rules and are subject to verification of eligibility before a prize is delivered. Entries that are submitted in connection with the Referrals Program will only be eligible if (A) the organization’s Campaign (as defined below), and related content posted by the organization, does not contain content that is unlawful, hateful or obscene, and does not violate the Terms of Use in any other way, in the Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion, and (B) the funds from the Campaign are being used, and will continue to be used, solely for the intended purpose for which the funds are being raised, as stated in the Campaign. By participating in the Referrals Program, the Representative represents and warrants that the organization is eligible to participate in accordance with these Official Rules.
