When creating a fundraising campaign, it's important to consider the specific requirements that campaign creators from different countries must adhere to. These requirements may vary depending on the location of the campaign and the legal framework of the country.


The table below provides an overview of some of the key requirements that campaign creators must adhere to in order to launch a fundraising campaign in specific countries. Please note that the below requirements do not guarantee approval, campaigns are reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis and LaunchGood holds

  • Must be a registered NGO/NPO organization. 
    • A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (US), a registered charity with the CRA (Canada) or the Charity Commission (United Kingdom 
  • Provide all minimum Requirements 
  • Include the location of impact, where your funds will be distributed
  • An official email address for your organization
  • Provide your website and any social media links 
Will need to partner with a reputable charity
G7 Countries + Europe
Local Cause
High-Risk Area/OFAC
  • Must be a registered NGO/NPO organization. 
  • Provide all minimum Requirements 
  • Include the location of impact, where your funds will be distributed
  • An official email address for your organization
  • Provide your website and any social media links
Will need to partner with a reputable charity
Rest Of the World Local Cause
Will need to partner with a reputable charity
High-Risk Area/OFAC
  • Must be a registered NGO/NPO organization. 
  • In addition to the requirements above:
    • An active website and social media must show previous work in a similar high-risk area
    • Further documentation is required
Will need to partner with a reputable charity

*All Organizations, NGOs, & NPOs must comply with registration country regulations. I.e. if you are a charity or organization in Canada you must be a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency
