How Do I Enter My Canadian Bank Account Information?

You are a Campaign Creator and need to set up your Payment Information before going Live. Follow these steps to complete this important section in the campaign approval process.



Completing your Payout Account


Before your campaign on LaunchGood can go Live and receive a payout, you need to complete the required information and documents on your payout account. It's important to fill this section out completely for you to be able to receive a payout. There are two options to complete your payout account information: 



While creating a campaign


  1. Choose the country your bank account is located in. Then press Next to complete

  2. When setting the goal amount for your campaign, be sure to select CAD as the currency. 

  3. Once you have entered all the information about your fundraiser, click Next 


  4. Enter your campaign's pitch. This will tell your donors more about your campaign before they donate.  Click Next to enter your payment information. 
  5. If you are a returning campaign creator, you can select your account from the dropdown menu.  If this is the first time you are using LaunchGood, enter your personal information as it appears in your bank's records.  It is important to fully complete all the sections to avoid interruptions with receiving the payout. Be sure to click Save Changes to ensure all the information you entered is saved. 


    1. Select and upload the document from your computer. Once it is uploaded, Choose the type of document from the drop-down menu and fill in any additional information. Click Save Document. Repeat this process for each additional document.

  6. Enter your banking information as it appears on your bank statement.  It is important to fully complete all the sections to avoid interruptions with receiving the payout. Be sure to click Save Changes to ensure all the information you entered is saved. Click Next
  7. Click on EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) from the Payment Method dropdown menu.  Enter the 3-digit Bank Institution Number, 5-digit Transit Number, and 7-digit Account Number as it appears on your bank statement, void check, or Direct Deposit Form. Once entered, click on Save Changes and then Next.


  1. Select and upload the document from your computer. Once it is uploaded, Choose the type of document from the drop-down menu and fill in any additional information. Click Save Document. Repeat this process for each additional document.



8.  Once all of the information has been completed, each section will turn green and confirm "This section is complete". All fields must be completed for the section to turn green.


 

Success! You have completed the setup of your Payment Information. You are now able to fundraise and receive a payout on LaunchGood!
