What Are The Payout Terms & Conditions?

At LaunchGood, we aim to ensure a smooth and transparent payout process for all campaign creators. Please review the following terms and conditions to understand how payouts work, eligibility requirements, and important deadlines.


1. Payout Eligibility

To receive a payout, campaign creators must:

  • Ensure that the personal/entity information and banking details section on the campaign are complete. 

  • Submit all required documentation as requested by our Trust & Safety Team (including identity and banking details).

  • Ensure that the campaign meets the minimum payout amount.

    • The minimum payout amount is $200 USD or £200 GBP. If your campaign balance is below this threshold, funds will remain in your account until you reach the minimum payout amount.

    • If your campaign is still live, a $200 USD or £200 GBP reserve must be maintained in your account. This means that to request a payout while your campaign is active, you must have raised at least $400 USD or £400 GBP in total.

Failure to meet these requirements may result in delayed or denied payouts.


2. Payout Process & Timeline

Step 1: Automatic Payouts & On-Demand Requests

  • All campaigns that have ended will be automatically paid out, so there is no need to request a payout.

  • However, if you would like to receive a payout while your campaign is still live, you can request one by sending an email to [email protected] or by simply getting in touch with your LaunchGood Account Manager if you have one. 

  • Ensure all required documents are uploaded before submitting your request.

  • Payouts faccounts are processed on a monthly cycle and do not need to be requested. However, if you requires more than one payout in a month, they can submit an additional request.


Step 2: Funds Transfer

  • Once requested, payouts are typically processed within 2-3 business days.

  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank and payment method.
    Note: International payouts may take longer due to banking regulations.


3. Reserve Policy

LaunchGood implements a reserve policy for live campaigns. If your campaign is still active, a $200 USD or £200 GBP reserve must be maintained in your account. This means that in order to request a payout while your campaign is live, you must have raised at least $400 USD or £400 GBP in total.


This reserve helps cover potential disputes, refunds, or chargebacks, while ensuring that campaign operations continue smoothly. Once your campaign has ended, you will be eligible to withdraw the remaining balance, provided all other payout requirements are met.


4. Refund Policy for Campaigns with Incomplete Documents

To maintain compliance and security, campaign creators must submit all required documents within 90 days of the completion of their campaign. If the necessary documents are not provided within this timeframe:

  • All donations to the campaign will be automatically refunded to donors.

  • If you wish to re-open your campaign, all documents must be submitted in advance before the campaign can go live again.

5. Common Questions (FAQs)

How do I check my payout status?

  • Organizational accounts, can track the payout status on your LaunchGood dashboard under the “Payouts” section.
  • Personal campaign creators can check on the payout status under the financial tab of the campaign.

What if I miss the 90-day deadline?

If documents are not submitted within 90 days, donations will be refunded, and no payout will be issued. This policy ensures donor trust and compliance with financial regulations.

Can I request an extension for document submission?

Extensions are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you need more time, please contact our support team before the 90-day period expires.
