Payment Terms & Conditions

Before a payout for your campaign can be issued, please ensure the following has been completed: 

  1. On your campaign page, the Payment Information section is completely filled out.

  2. You have uploaded a Bank Statement and/or Void Check.


Payment Frequency - A campaign payout is processed when the campaign end date has reached. Alternatively, you can request a payout for your campaign at any time by sending an email to payments@launchgood.com. If you are a repeat Campaign Creator with LaunchGood, you have the option to be placed on a monthly payout schedule where a payout is issued on the 1st of every month. Please email us to enroll in the monthly payment option (conditions apply). 


Minimum Amount to Raise - A minimum of $200 USD is required to be raised before a payout can be issued for a campaign. By setting this minimum, we allow Campaign Creators to keep more of their funds raised and pay less in transfer fees.


Refunds - A refund is when a donor requests their donation be returned to them. While the campaign is active or there is a balance in your account, refunds will be deducted directly from your campaign balance. After the campaign is completed and you have received a payout, we will direct the donor to contact you to request the refund.


Chargebacks - Chargebacks happen when a donor requests their bank to return their donation, or when your donor’s bank detects a problem with a transaction. Chargebacks as well as their associated fees will be the responsibility of the campaign creator. While the campaign is active, refunds and chargebacks will be deducted directly from your campaign balance. After the campaign is completed and you have received a payout, you will be responsible for paying back any chargebacks, as well as their associated fees.


Reserve - In case of refunds and chargebacks we set aside a portion of your funds when issuing a payout. 

  1. For campaigns with a US bank account, we set aside a $200 reserve from the payout while the campaign is live, once the campaign has been completed we release the reserve to you. 

  2. For campaigns with a bank account anywhere else in the world, we set a reserve of 10% of your funds raised (minimum $200). This reserve is released 90 days after the last transaction on your campaign. 

    • If you do not receive your reserve after 120 days from the last transaction on your campaign, send an email to payments@launchgood.com.


The Payment Fees & Transfer - In order to get funds raised to campaign creators quickly, we send funds via Wire Transfer (outside the US) through several different payment processors. Each Wire Transfer costs a small fee, which is automatically deducted from your payout amount. For transfers inside the US, we send funds via ACH transfer.
