Why did I receive a refund from LaunchGood?

You may have recently received a refund on your account from LaunchGood. This refund is likely for a donation to a campaign on LaunchGood from before August 2020. Our former payment processor BlueSnap was unable to issue a payout for the funds raised for some campaigns to the campaign creators, so all the donations to these campaigns were refunded. This happened because the payment processor did not receive the necessary verification documents from the campaign within the established time frame, therefore the account was unable to be fully verified for payout. It also could have been because the campaign did not reach the minimum of $200 required for a payout to be issued. 


We apologize for this unexpected refund and any inconvenience it causes. Unfortunately, this was outside of our control, and this decision did not have anything to do with the legitimacy of the campaign or organization to which you donated! We encourage you to see these campaign creator's new campaigns and continue to support them.
