I am seeing recurring donations on my bank statement

LaunchGood currently does not have the technical capacity to accept recurring donations. Did you make a one-time donation but seeing recurrent charges on your bank statement? Did you happen to select the option to "Save my card" to make future donations easier? To increase the likelihood that your charges will be approved, our credit card processor marks all charges being made with a saved customer as ‘recurring’. This tells the bank that the CVC code isn’t present because the payment information was stored for recurring use. The ‘recurring’ flag may show up on your statements, but doesn’t at all mean you're subscribed to a recurring billing plan. Hopefully that clarifies!


Contact your credit card provider/ bank to find out. Again, we can confirm that there are no recurring charges as LaunchGood currently does not have the technical capacity to accept recurring donations.
